Note to self: When the lab person says, "Oh, we don't have a lot of pediatric things here, but we'll make it work".... she's about to use something that isn't meant for kids and will cause drama for mom!!
Avery did awesome there during and after the blood draw. What she didn't do well with is the fact that my mom and I tried for over an hour to get her finger to stop bleeding. She kept wanting to suck on the band aids,etc.....SHE'D BEEN POKED WAY TOO DEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fun times for mommy cause now I have to scrub her carseat, playmat, high chair tray, sippy cup, outfit, socks, kitchen counters, several toys, dining room floor.
Lesson learned!
