We're Home!!!

Today has been such a dream come true! I can cry anytime I stop and think about how thankful I am to have a healthy baby home with us. I am truly on another mommy high. I love her so much. We have enjoyed every minute with her. Matt was telling a neighbor that he loves changing her diapers because she is the first baby he's changed and that makes it very special for him.

It has been a calm day we got everything put away and organized. She has been sleeping great and eating decently. Each feeding is better and better but she really didn't want to eat much the first two feedings at home today which they told us might happen because of the change of scenery,etc.

I can't believe that I am officially a stay at home mom...I mean I knew that I was but the reality of it just sank in this evening when I was talking with a neighbor. We're going to have so much fun together. She is an easy baby so far cause she sleeps so much..I know that changes but I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts.

She did gain weight to get us home today and hopefully you can see in the picture that she now weighs 4lbs 7.1 oz. She slept the whole way home in the carseat and didn't mind at all wearing her going home dress that Matt's mom got for us.

The dogs did a nice job with her (my brother and his dog are with us while he completes his internship this summer). They didn't think much of her til she was waking up and then they were looking all around her playard to see where the noise was coming from and what it was. When Matt got her out they just stared for the longest and then enjoyed licking her feet. They licked them when we first came in but I think just thought she was a doll or toy cause they just walked away, but when she was making noise they were very interested to see what she was. Bailey and Jasmin are best of friends and have been chilling with us wherever we go in the house. They wear each other out which is great for us so we don't have to entertain them as much. We thought they deserved to be on the blog as well.
