She's here!!!

WOW!! Never did I think that I would be the one whose water broke at home or that I was going to get to push her out, but God answers prayer. I've been praying for a fast and smooth delivery and that is exactly what I got.

I was talking to my sister-in-law on the phone at about 6pm and I just felt this little gush like Avery had taken her finger and pop the water balloon surrounding her, but I thought no way this only happens to like 5% of women so that's not what it is. Sure enough within about 15 minutes I was contracting BIG time. They started at 7 min apart and then were at 3 min by the time we got the dr called, Grace to the neighbor and in the car. I was really scared at this point that A: I was having a baby VERY quickly and B: were were going to make it to the hospital?

By the time we pull up to Clarian north I am at about 3 min apart and in a TON of pain. They take me to triage thinking my water hasn't broken and then a really strong contraction happens and well there was some leakage..sorry for the TMI. I get right to a room and they realize I'm going fast through the labor and I'm at this point begging to get some pain relief. They work as fast as they can to help with that. By 10:30pm I'm 8 cm and contractions are 2-3min apart, but I've got my epidural THANK YOU JESUS!!!

Then by 11:30 I'm thinking man I really need to push and sure enough I'm 10cm and allowed to push as soon as I get some antibiotics in me cause I was strep B positive or something like that. So I try my best to make it through the next 20-30min without pushing and then she says if you have to you can push.

In about 15-20 Avery Claire Tenney was out!!! Simply beautiful and perfect. She came out so smoothly and quite fast they said for a VBAC. I am still in awe of how God orchestrated it all and that he has given me another healthy baby girl. I'm on a bit of an adrenaline rush and hoping to catch some z's while she's in the nursery tonight.

PS She latched on super well as well. A huge answer to prayer because it was a very long process with Grace due to her being early.

So, WAY TO GO GOD and all the staff at Clarian North, my mom, Barb Rice(a very dear friend who's had 5 children of her own), and Avery's AMAZING daddy Matt.

Thank you for all your prayers!!! We'd love visitors and there is no age limit on visitors!
